Det har været noget af et år, og det har bestemt ikke været let som begivenhed. Det føltes surrealistisk at flytte J-Popcon 2020 til februar 2021, især da det ikke betød nogen J-Popcon i år. Vi har været lige så rastløse som dig og har savnet vores træf, men vi kunne ikke gøre andet. Det tog sin tid at tilbagebetale alle billetter, men med støtte fra regeringen ser fremtiden bare lidt lysere ud for os.
Som mange af jer sandsynligvis forventede, var det ikke slutningen på det. Da vi kom tættere på 2021, blev det klart, at J-Popcon ikke kunne afholdes i februar. Vi savner DGI-Byen, vores gæster og den dejlige samværsfølelse mere end nogensinde, men det er vigtigt at tage de nuværende begrænsninger i betragtning. Vi er alligevel glade for at kunne meddele, at vi har en ny dato:
J-Popcon 2021 flytter til den 15.-17. Oktober 2021!
I 2021 afholdes J-Popcon den første weekend i efterårsferien. Vi håber at alt vil vende til det bedre, nu hvor vi har en vaccine på vej, fordi det føles som om vi har ventet for evigt på at komme tilbage til DGI-Byen.
Du behøver ikke at vente til oktober for at nyde den gode J-Popcon atmosfære. Vores seneste initiativ, J-Popconline, streamer den 27.-28. februar! Kom og vær med, når vores dejlige arrangører igen går online.
Så pas på hinanden og alle omkring dig, og så håber vi at se dig i både februar og oktober næste år.

It has been quite the year and it has certainly not been easy as an event. It felt surreal to move J-Popcon 2020 to February 2021, especially since that meant no J-Popcon this year. We have been just as restless as you and have missed our convention, but there was nothing else we could do. It took its time to refund all of your tickets, but with the support from the government, the future looks just a bit brighter to us.
As many of you probably anticipated, it was not the end of it. As we got closer to 2021, it became clear that J-Popcon could not be held in February. We miss DGI-Byen, our guests, and the lovely con-stress more than ever, but it is important to take the current restrictions into account. We are nevertheless happy to be able to announce that we have a new date:
J-Popcon 2021 is moving to the 15th-17th October 2021!
In 2021, J-Popcon will be held in the first weekend of the Autumn holiday. We have that everything will have turned out for the better, now that we have a vaccine on the way, because it feels like we have waited forever to get back to DGI-Byen.
You don’t need to wait until October though to enjoy some good J-Popcon atmosphere. Our latest initiative, J-Popconline, will be streaming the 27th-28th February! Come and join, when our lovely organisers once again go online.
So take care of each other and everyone around you and then we hope to see you in both February and October next year.
